The stay at Colliery Cottage was absolutely delightful. Clare, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the cottage itself was not only spacious and stylish, but also equipped with all the amenities one could ask for - from free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV to a fully stocked kitchen. the location was perfect for exploring Durham and surrounding areas, and the peaceful setting added to the overall charm of the experience. the warm welcome package and pet-friendly approach truly made us feel at home. A wonderful place to stay for a relaxing getaway that offers great value for money.
